Here are some tips for rappelling down a big wall with your haul bag that I learned from my recent trip to Yosemite. This might not be the most efficient way but it worked well for me and my partner and the best part is that it keeps the weight of the haul bag completely off of you. Essentially you are just putting the haul bag on rappel as if it were a climber. So clip both straps into a carabiner, this will be your master point (set a back up carabiner in case the straps on the haul bag fail).
